Noun.  Also called The Maidenhair Tree because of its fluttery blonde leaves, Gingko Biloba is a tree native to Eastern Asia.  Named a “living fossil” by scientists, Gingko Biloba has grown on earth for over 270 million years.

When tested by scientists, Gingko Biloba helped improve circulation and blood flow, and protected cells against free radicals – which is why Clarins uses the tree extract in two of its most important anti-aging and skin tightening products: Our Shaping Facial Lift Wrap, which reduces puffiness and roundness in the face, and our Special Eye Contour Balm, which helps prevent new lines from forming.

The overachieving plant even has fashion cred: Diane von Furstenberg created a Gingko leaf pattern for her famous wrap dresses!
