Other websites have a weekly Best Dressed pick, but Beauty Flash Blog has Skin Win, a list of the most glowing women we've seen recently.
This week's winner is Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo, who paired her white Lanvin gown with simple makeup and rosy, glowing cheeks that make her look young, blooming, and full of California sunshine. You can get the same effect by smiling into the mirror, and brushing a sweep of our Blush Prodige Illuminating Cheek Colour Compact compact directly onto the apples of your cheeks.
Other looks we loved:
*Diane Von Furstenberg - whose birthday was on New Year's Eve! - looking naturally luminous in a red cashmere scarf. (To copy her look, try Vital Light Serum, which can infuse flat skin with illumination.)
*Lena Dunham, celebrating the second season of GIRLS with a fabulous outfit and a radiant, creamy complexion. To copy it, use a sheer foundation with a tiny bit of mineral shimmer, like Skin Illusion Loose Powder. You can apply it on your shoulders and chest, too, if you're going strapless like Lena! (Bonus: Her co-star Allison Williams wearing one of our favorite Joseph Altuzarra looks.)
*Solange Knowles doing a modern take on smoldering makeup with berry-stained lips and a very subtle smoky eye (something you can achieve by blending several shades of Ombre Minerale eyeshadow together with a fluffy eyeshadow brush).
*Parenthood actress Mae Whitman sporting glamorously groomed brows at the People's Choice Awards. (Double Fix' Mascara can help keep yours naturally thick and beautifully shaped.)
*Alicia Keys belting "Girl on Fire" onstage with glowing skin and very little makeup. (That's what Instant Light Complexion Perfector is for!)
*And our friend Tracy Anderson baring her perfect midriff and reminding us 1) We need to go to the gym, immediately. 2) Tonic Body Treatment Oil is our best friend for firmness, toning, and elasticity - and it's an especially welcome skin soother after a tough (but worth it!) workout.
